installation for the entrance hall of CREA, the cultural organisation of the Universiteit van Amsterdam. The new building is located behind the facades of an old Diamond grinder in the center of Amsterdam

Behind the old facade of a former diamond grinder in Amsterdam, KNOL made a sparkling piece for the entrance hall of the newly designed building, owned by CREA - In collaboration with Sjoerd ter Borg and Chris Bakker
on the back wall, wind turbines regulate the air of the hall. This subtle force is used to let the glossy elements rotate, like windmills. The reflection of light causes the sparkle of the installation, reminding of a handfull of diamonds.
